Why You Should Visit Summerlin for Your Next Escape Room Outing
When you think of Las Vegas, what comes to mind? The majority of visitors and even some of our newer residents don’t think of much other than what is offered on the Las Vegas Strip. People always tend to think of the gambling, the clubs, and the live theater shows. I agree with anyone else that these entertainment options can provide people with fun and exciting experiences.
As a Las Vegas native myself, I can confidently say that this city has a lot of hidden gems that are located away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. In fact I would argue that the Summerlin Neighborhood is one of the best places in town for unique entertainment, lovely scenery, and great restaurants.
With an ever growing population that currently resides at 125,000 residents, a median household income of $94k, and some of the highest rated public schools in Nevada; it is apparent that Summerlin is considered a safe and family friendly neighborhood. In fact this region of town is so outstanding that it ranked in the #1 spot for best neighborhood in the Las Vegas Valley.
But don’t just take my word for it…below are some testimonials from some of the Summerlin Locals themselves…
Aside from it’s aesthetically pleasing landscape and charming suburban features, the Summerlin area of Las Vegas is well known for its wide variety of uniquely vibrant shopping centers, high end casinos, landmarks, and outdoor activities.
The six locations and attractions stated above are all symbolic locations that represent the very nature of the Summerlin region.

3. Las Vegas Ballpark
Since 1983 Las Vegas has been home to the 51s triple A minor league baseball team. Until recently, all of the team’s games were held at Cashman Field. In 2013 the 51s were bought by Las Vegas Baseball Club LLC, which was created as a joint partnership between the Howard Hughes Corp and the Play Ball Owners Corp.
Once ownership of the team was transferred, Las Vegas Baseball Club LLC decided to make significant changes to the brand. The baseball team’s name was changed to the Aviators and in order to promote the new brand’s image, the company made the decision to create a brand new state-of-the-art baseball field that would replace the old, worn down venue.
This new field, Las Vegas Ballpark, cost Las Vegas Baseball Club LLC approximately $150 million to construct and in 2019 the stadium officially opened its doors revealing significant improvements from its predecessor . This new venue has a total seating capacity of 10k and is composed of cutting-edge features such as, but not limited to, 22 ultra modern suites, a center field pool, a kids zone, and several bars.
Since its opening, Las Vegas Ballpark has become a significant landmark of the Summerlin area and is used year-round for a wide variety of special events. The types of functions hosted are large events such as parties, non-profit galas, weddings, festivals, and art exhibits.
